ACCOLADES!
I wanted to thank you and the entire committee for a wonderful 40th Class Reunion. It really did go very well, and it was great seeing all of the old faces again. Sorry I was not able to make the Sunday brunch. I have watched the Power Point Presentation, which I really enjoyed. I look forward to seeing you all again in Sept. for the QTR Dinner. Just be sure to send out reminder! Until then, take care & have a wonderful summer! Hugs to all! Steve S. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It is 4:00 A.M..... obviously I couldn't sleep because of all the excitement!! What a wonderful evening, one I shall never forget. You guys have always been special and really exemplify what friendship is all about. I don't have your addresses, so am using this "new" technology to say thank you to each and every one of you for inviting me to your reunion and for the wonderful surprises in my "goody" bag. I will frame my certificate (which brought tears to my eyes, by the way) and it will always remind me of what a privilege it is to be known as your teacher. Do you have bios on everyone? I'm beginning to conjure up names of some students whom I did not see last night and would love to know where they are and how they are doing. What wonderful memories are surfacing now!! Thank you for taking me back again to those wonderful years! Sra. Goldfarb

Thanks for a great time. I am grateful for having the chance to see people I remember. I may never have been able to reconnect with everyone. The woman who introduced my husband & me to one another. The girls I met the day I came to East as a new student. The couples I attended their weddings over 30+ years ago. This means a lot. Thanks Angie C.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx An email hardly seems appropriate to thank you two for all your dedication to our class reunion. What an awesome time we had. My husband (not an East high guy) had a blast! And Louie - he said you were a great MC!!!! Events like this don't just happen -folks like you work for months and many of us enjoy the fruits of your labor. Bless you - love-Nancy B. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Well I can surely say that this was one weekend I could not wait to attend and it was beyond my wildest dreams. You know there were people hugging people they never even talked to in school (me for instance) and I wouldn’t have been any where else but there. I had a bodacious time and it was even better getting reacquainted with old friends I haven’t seen in years. You and your staff did an absolutely incredible job and I stand and applaud all of you on all the time you put into this and your time spent away from your loved ones etc. Now all we can do is wait until you recover and do this all over again. THANKS AGAIN FOR PUTTING EVERYONE ELSE BEFORE YOURSELF !!!!!!!!!!!!! Love to all !!! Linda C. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thank you, it was great, and the whole committee is and should be so proud of the job done, but mostly, how wonderful you all made everyone feel, your kindness, sincerity, and graciousness... Please let me know when you all will be going to the Half Shell again, Would love to come. Thank you again, and we had a wonderful time. So grateful to all. Thankful for the experience. Leigh G.

I can not over state my appreciation for the exceptional time, resources and dedication you, the Committee, devoted to making our 40th an absolutely superb event. I just arrived home in Vicksburg and had to share my gratitude with you. I thoroughly enjoyed the Friday night at Carole's, the East tour led by Linda and the Saturday dinner-dance which all of you contributed too so tremendously. The dinner was excellent; the bands were great; the display evoked memories; the "treat bag" was very nice (love the mouse pad in particular) and the "J. Carson" MC was smooth, poignant and highly entertaining. I would have loved to have played the trivia game (and was poised to) but I think the crowd was so immersed in renewing acquaintances that few wanted to stop. My only regret was that I seemed to have so little time to visit. There were many to whom I didn't even have the opportunity to reintroduce myself too, and I hope to make amends at gatherings to come. I am absolutely determined to make it to a quarterly dinner next year. By the way, a group of us stood on the steps of East for about 45 minutes reminiscing and then 5 of us continued over lunch Saturday I suspect there was many who enjoyed such extended visiting. The Committee though was probably far to busy "preparing" to take such a respite. You folks excelled. I was struck by how blessed the class of "67 has been as a whole with our education at East but even more so by the lifelong friendships we have made. Thank you so much for all you did in making the 40th such a success. Larry B. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Just wanted to say Thanks again for all your hard work; I really enjoyed the reunion weekend. And I look forward to making it to one of the Half Shell Wednesdays soon. Thanks again and hope to see you soon. Marilynn H.

Adrianne, Louie, et.al.,
I just wanted to offer my heartfelt thanks to all that worked so hard to make our class reunion happen. I had such a good time! Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated. Again, thank you all so very much. Well done! Sincerely, Steve C.

I can not remember having more fun than I had at our reunion this past weekend. Over the years I have tried to explain to my wife Martha how special East was. This past weekend she was able to witness what words simply could not explain. Friday night was simply fantastic. Made so by the gracious hospitality of Carole and Bill West. To have been part of "THE BEST CLASS" ( OK I am a little prejudiced ) of THE BEST SCHOOL is something that I will always cherish. Thanks for a very special time! Bobby S.

Great time had by all thanks to your efforts, and the efforts of many others to provide the venues for this great class to enjoy each other's company. I hope we have a scaled down version in five years, and another grand one in ten. Joe L. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
YOU ALL DID AN AMAZING JOB!!!! Thank you so much for all your work, time, organization and patience --I can imagine you had lots of kinks to work out. We all had a WONDERFUL time and are so grateful to all you worked SO HARD on it !! HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN SOON! Congratulations on a first class reunion. It was terrific being with everyone again. I'm so glad so many were able to come from out of town to be here. I'm just getting to my email 'cause I immediately got sick after the reunion. Guess I ate too much at the brunch and did a little too much kissing and hugging, but I continued to work for several days before I totally succumbed to the crud and fever. Just started back to work today after several days at home. C'est la vie! You pay for your thrills. I was blown away by the cd in the gift bag. What a gift. Done so well and so sophisticated in the depth of information and fun stuff available on it. Great job!!!! I look forward to seeing many of you again as the chance arises. Thank you all for the love put into bringing the 40th to all of us. Love, Susan C. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
HEY GUYS!!! I just wanted to stop and tell all of you that it was so great seeing you again and having the time to visit with you all has really filled a huge, huge hole in my life To those on the committee - especially Louie and A. - thank you for opening your hearts, your home and the big green egg to me and allowing me to help with the decorations. Making them brought back so many memories. Even looking back at the pics has been a real treat!! I have had so many compliments on the pictures and memorabilia I brought. I can't imagine how they made it this far with me, but through all my moves and through life itself, they made it through just fine. I am so happy that everyone enjoyed them. Gotta go for now, more later.... Mary Jo

I've been thinking about you and about everyone at the reunion. Wasn't that the most wonderful occasion?! I was thrilled to get all those pictures via internet from Judy. They are so good, and I can't wait to have prints made and put into an album. B.C. said he could feel the joy that was there, and that he even enjoyed it more than his own reunions! I think it's a good idea to have one every five years now, too. It's still hard to believe that it has been 40 years! Bonnie J.
